Zephyr
Zephyr reads like a city caught between two states — construction and collapse, order and chaos. The composition is built on diagonals: slashing white strokes cut across a dark field of charcoal, slate, and teal, with a ghosted skyline visible through the upper center. What separates this piece from others in the Structure series is the sense of velocity. Most works in this collection are still. Zephyr is not. It works best large, where the diagonals have room to move across the wall rather than compress into it.
